    Sony Z1R....listening impressions only

Hi all, I find that the 2 meter Kimber MUC-B20SB1 (4.4mm terminated) is too long when connecting MDR-Z1R directly to ZX300 walkman. The MUC-B12BL1 is shorter but with dual 3.5mm termination, not 4.4mm termination. Is there an adapter to convert the dual 3.5mm to 4.4mm?

The Official Sony TA-ZH1ES Hi-Res Headphone Amplifier (Live From IFA 2016)

Hi all, just got my TA yay! I find the supplied walkman cable is just too short, is there a longer one sold separately? I do not mind third party cable. Thanks!

    Sony Z1R....listening impressions only

Hi all, just want to share my experience about my MDR-Z1R with ZX300 walkman. I bought mine a few months back and was having a hard time liking it. To start off, most of the stuff that l listen to are pop and rock songs, some EDMS, in many recordings the electric guitars and vocal sound were...

    UE 5Pro too sensitive?

SF5 hiss like mad on my ipaq HX4700 pda but not noticeable when complicated tunes (such as m.o.v.e's songs) play. Minor hiss noticeable on my ipod nano too by the way. PS:cute sig there.

UM3X, SE530, TF10 or any suggestion? A Trance, Techno, and Rock listener

To all, Thank you for your opinion, I really appreciate every piece of info I get here. But frankly, I still couldn't decide on my next phones . The more reply I get here, the more confused I become . The initial phones that got me interested was the UM3X, with TF10 always in my list. SE530 was...

UM3X, SE530, TF10 or any suggestion? A Trance, Techno, and Rock listener

@ bakhtiar, Do not want to drive to Singapore so I'm left with purchasing my new phone based on impressions here. Thanks but I do not bother buying these phones at LYN forum, they are just cutting throats. @ Scott_Tarlow, I can't be too sure if I really like UE signature. I probably like...

UM3X, SE530, TF10 or any suggestion? A Trance, Techno, and Rock listener

@ Bakhtiar, Another m.o.v.e listener, GREAT! Based on what you said, UM3X definitely suits me better than PFE. Btw, where can I get (or where did you get) the UM3X in Malaysia? I'm staying in K.L. in fact.

UM3X, SE530, TF10 or any suggestion? A Trance, Techno, and Rock listener

@ Detrun, One of the review mentions "Deep bass is not represented." So I think it's safe for me say that Re0 is not my cup of tea now. I'm pretty sure that the IE8 would be too thick, dark, bassy for Japanese music. The treble would probably be too smooth, which isn't very good either, I...

UM3X, SE530, TF10 or any suggestion? A Trance, Techno, and Rock listener

@ steviebee, "Treble detail is superb -metallic sheen on cymbals etc, plucked strings etc. The bass is thunderous when it needs to be. " For my taste, I'd like bass to be a bit thunderous although when it's not needed, but that's only when I do EQ . SF5 couldn't handle thunderous bass in my...

UM3X, SE530, TF10 or any suggestion? A Trance, Techno, and Rock listener

Thank you all again! It seems that I am left with the UM3x, TF10, and IE8 which will suit me most as mentioned by steviebee but I am leaning towards the UM3x right now, probably because of comments by obentou and DeTrun. TF10 makes me very indecisive because I've gotten used to the UE signature...
