~$60 IEM, Vsonic GR06 vs SM E30 vs FA Eterna vs MEE A151

Unless I missed it, then I don't think anyone has commented on the title of the thread...   >$100 means greater than $100. :P

    Building a Sennheiser HD 25

Does anyone know if the 25 SP headband would fit on the 25-1 speaker elements? It's much cheaper to buy the parts from Sennheiser and assemble it. And which cable is best? Thanks.

Recommendations for iPhone earbuds replacement (non-IEM)

You could try the Bose IE.  I don't have much experience with earbuds but I've had these in the past (pets ate them :P).  They have the gel tips so they're unlike most in-ears I believe.  You don't need to create that annoying seal in your ear canal, there's no cable noise if you're moving a...

    What's so bad about Bose?

I bought some ATH-M50s after my ferrets ate my Bose Triports.  I'm now selling the ATH and getting the new AE2 because I can hardly tell a difference.  The form factor and brand factor of the Bose outweighs whatever sound quality I am missing.   My personal opinion is that, too often...

    Bose

This quote shows how arrogant people on here can become.  It's absolutely ridiculous to prefer iBuds over Bose.  I gotta wonder if you've even heard a Bose headphone.   Quote:

New product: Bose Around Ear 2

I love the Bose AE headphones.  I have ATH-M50 because it is highly recommended on this forum but I think I prefer the Bose, because of its form factor, super lightweight, and social appeal.  I guess I don't have audiophile ears because I love the sound too.  There's also more room for my ears...

    Value & Performance Headset

I could do that but I'm not the right person to ask to do a review. :P   People consistently rave about certain brands of headphones for sound quality (Sennheiser, Audio Technica, Shure, etc.) and by getting these I'd hate to miss out on the spectacular audio quality that those brands have...

    Value & Performance Headset

So I'm guessing most people would opt for a pair of phones with an external mic?  I really wanted to try out http://www.steelseries.com/us/products/audio/7h/information.  Is there any way to tell by specs if it's any good.  I don't think it's been released yet.   If you guys are sure it's...

    Value & Performance Headset

I'll spend about $200 at most.  I'm not a head-fi expert so I don't exactly have any tastes, except for that I want really good bass.  I was using the Bose over-ear Triports before and I liked those a lot.  I'm not sure how those sound compared to headsets/phones + mic that you guys recommend.

    Value & Performance Headset

Hello.  I'm looking for a full-size headphone that I can use for gaming and music mostly.   Originally I wanted a good headset with a mic with excellent sound quality so I could use a single device for voice chat and music.  I've looked at so many gaming headsets and none of them seem to...

    Looking for headphones, help!

Well I'm sold. That's the first good reply I've gotten so i'll take it to heart. I live close to an Apple store so I might just go pick 'em up. Thanks again! I'll post back when I've tried them out. The sound isolation shouldn't be a problem. I just thought that was the reason for the cable...

    Looking for headphones, help!

So it seems that the Bose in-ears are unique in the design of the tips. The bose in-ears are more like an earbud to me rather than an in-ear so I guess I'm looking for earbuds that can deliver good sound quality (also with a mic). I might try ordering different headphones from the Apple site...

    Looking for headphones, help!

Yeah, as you can probably tell by my rant I had a lot of things to say without any planning. I'm looking to spend around $100 or less. Also, I found this quote on CNET reviewing the Bose IE Triports and this perfectly sums up what I'm looking for, except with a mic., and rather as an alternative...
