I've got E-MU's Purpleheart version of the CAL's and I will say, even with Brainwavz velour ear pads, the leak isn't horrible. There are many ways to improve the leak, one of which is hilariously enough dyna-mat'ing the interior of the cups.

Yeah, something similar would be nice. Looking for a nice maybe not so known headphone with the same or similar airiness. I like a very neutral, reference-like sound signature typically. Open ears are preferable, but if there are closed ears cans on the market now with really wide sound stages...
