I like Japanese stuff, tech things and cats.
Video games, mostly niche J-RPGs (Falcom is the sh!t), visual novels (including eroge), and other stuff. I've got unusually high translation/localisation quality standards as well, so I'm pretty loud about that.
The music I listen to is mostly made up from video game OSTs (cf. the stuff above)
I also watch anime, but not on a regular basis.
I also happen to be some kind of car enthusiast for some reason.
Sony MDR-CD900ST (with these earpads: http://a.co/3y6LO0r and it's great )
Fostex T50RP MK3 (with Shure 1540 pads and a bit of toilet paper for dampening)
Sennheiser HD598 Cs
AKG K550 MKII
Sennheiser RS120 (retired due to faultiness through wear over the years)
Phillips Cityscape Downtown (broken)
Headphone Amp Inventory:
Fiio E17k Alpen 2 (on which I strapped with Fiio rubber bands a Hosa 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter)
Fiio E07k Andes
Fiio E09k Qogir (on which the E07k remains docked)
Laptop (Lenovo Y700) + E17k/E07k DACs
Phone (Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus) + E07k DAC (via OTG)
Roland Sound Canvas SC-88VL (that I can't for the life of me figure out how to connect to my laptop, please help)
Not gonna lie, most of the music I listen to comes from video games. I got quite the OST collection.
FM-synth and MIDI soundtracks are pretty dope as well. All hail to our glorious gods, namely the Yamaha OPNA YM2608 soundchip and the Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 MIDI sound module.
Outside of VGM though, I'm leaning towards old rock or hard rock, heavy metal, power metal, but honestly I'm rather eclectic. I just don't listen to hip-hip or rap, because I'm an idiot who doesn't listen to anything outside his comfort zone.
