    CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE

I like to spend some time deciding which direction my next HIFI move will be and the Etude is another one on my list, as space is limited for the boxes that I buy Chord always has a small footprint which is a plus for me.

    CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE

Glen Croft sadly died in a motorbike accident not so long ago, he was very much a maverick designer, and short signal paths were very much part of his design philosophy, on the output of this particular design, the positive and negative are swapped as this eliminates one stage in the amp and...

Personally, I like the Alpair speakers as rears but wouldn't swap them for front speakers with any of the other ones that I have built, which are TL2, DTQWT III, and Thor Evo 4 designed by Joe D'appollito.

With a power amp in between, TL2 M/T is currently run with Croft 7R monoblocks with the 18" BMS using a Hypex plate amp, whilst the Alpair rear speakers are currently run with a Rotel RB-03. I may be upgrading the power amps in the future AGD has caught my eye at the moment but I tend to change...

    CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE

I am running the Troels Gravsen TL2 as front speakers and the Alpairs as rears both off the Dave. DIY speakers can have some great savings money-wise and still be mighty impressive to listen to, the TL2 can be built in different versions with a choice of super tweeter, I got some of the last...

Focal Presents the Dune Finish for Bathys

Does anyone know if these use the new Bluetooth LE? It should make the range from the source much greater which is a useful feature for me. Thanks.

    Hi Lokust, sorry already sold.

The music is sent in a packet from your computer to the Bricasti M5 where it is converted into a stream of music well away from your noisy computer. It's easy to use just an on/off switch but you do need Audrivana or another brand to do the DLNA connection.

I use Audirvana/Quboz, and added a Bricasti M5 as a renderer, the difference was very surprising (in a good way).

Hello electrovox, I live in Provence so no problem sending it to Holland, I will include the cost of postage in the asking price of £875.00 or €987.00, I have an account in the UK and one in France so payment in either currency is OK.
