Investment dillema: Get AMP/DAC for HD 380 or buy new setup
I've actually been looking at the a900x for a while, what will the pads affect though? Also, how do they compare to something like the hd 600s? or the t50rp mad dogs? hd 600 is out of budget but still curious none the less. I do use a windows machine, unfortunately I'm on a laptop though, so I...- cloudbinary

Investment dillema: Get AMP/DAC for HD 380 or buy new setup
Currently trying to figure out what would make the most sense, I currently do not have a decicated amp/dac to use for my Senns HD 380s. I can either spend ~$200 and get an AMP/DAC (like the schiit combo). Or I could sell off my HD 380 and spend $300 on a new setup. And I'm not sure what would...- cloudbinary

nice. Have one myself. I remember reading a fix before on the notebook forums that worked for me. To be honest though I'm not a touchpad fan. Sent from my MB886 using Tapatalk 4 Beta- cloudbinary

Sennheiser HD 380 Pro: Amp, DAC, or both?
Problem is I don't have a tower pc available. Just a laptop, so I'm probably going to need a portable amp/dac or something that'll work over usb. If the dac is the same in the Fiios. Why do people say they sound different, will the different amps really impact the sound a lot? Sent from my...- cloudbinary

Sennheiser HD 380 Pro: Amp, DAC, or both?
I bit the bullet and got the HD 380s (54Ω), I've given them some time to burn in and I like the neutrality of their sound. They sound a lot better than the cheap headphones I was using before, but being a newbie to this world of audio gear my inexperience with the accessories make it hard for...- cloudbinary

Looking for Full-sized headphones for around $130ish
Thanks for the recommendations guys. Doing a bit more research along with these suggestions, I've found a Senny HD 380 Pro in my price range, that + a cheap amp, would it be worth it vs getting the m-audio or koss pro?- cloudbinary

Looking for Full-sized headphones for around $130ish
Is the M50 really the best headphones for the budget? How does Superlux or KRK 8400 compare? Oh, and thanks for the link! :D- cloudbinary

Looking for Full-sized headphones for around $130ish
Location: At home, and mixing recordings on a board, outside with my phone (if the headphones require an amp, I can get a Fiio E5 or whatever cheap solution would more-less fit the budget) Budget: 120 USD (Prefer to keep it under, but I'd like to see any recommendations really. ) Music: As...- cloudbinary
