I found these headphones at work and I'm very interested in them. I currently have a pair of Denon D2000s but I don't have a good enough amp to get the best sound out of them. I can get these 558s for $100 with my work discount. How do they compare to the D2000s?

Didn't want to start a new thread, but I wanted to ask what kind of equipment I should look into? So far I've just been using Ableton on my laptop and I want to take the next step, but I don't know what my priority should be when looking at gear to buy.

Does anyone that uses Ableton mix and master within the program or do you use a separate program?

I've read some reviews of the Asgard on this site and they were not very favorable.
