I found these headphones at work and I'm very interested in them. I currently have a pair of Denon D2000s but I don't have a good enough amp to get the best sound out of them. I can get these 558s for $100 with my work discount. How do they compare to the D2000s?

Didn't want to start a new thread, but I wanted to ask what kind of equipment I should look into? So far I've just been using Ableton on my laptop and I want to take the next step, but I don't know what my priority should be when looking at gear to buy.

Does anyone that uses Ableton mix and master within the program or do you use a separate program?

I've read some reviews of the Asgard on this site and they were not very favorable. 

So far the Objective 2 looks like the best option. Could anyone recommend a desktop amp?

I'll definitely look into it. In case I can't find one anytime soon, does anyone have other recommendations?

I only touched on it in the main post, but what DAW is the best for integrating live instruments with electronic sounds as well as playing live. I plan on writing music that uses both live instruments and electronics, and I need a program that I can use to play the electronics live. 

I tried Reaper but I didn't find it very user friendly. I've been interested in Cubase as well, would you recommend it?

Thanks for all the replies everyone, thank goodness I have Spotify so I can listen to all these.    Forgot to mention, I'm already a huge fan of Pendulum and The Prodigy but I'll take recommendations to anything similar as well. 

I want some album recommendations. Not just "good" albums, but life changing albums. I don't want to listen to an album where maybe half the songs are good, I want a solid start to finish piece that I can listen to all the way through.  More specifically, I would like more electronic albums...
