Managed to solve the problem by moving the turntable away from the amplifier. I now use the pre amp with the turntable switch set to off and sounds amazing. Thanks for your help :)

The turntable was a gift and was bought brand new for roughly £150 or so. I understand that the tracking force over time is damaging and I'm hopefully going to grab a different turntable once my budget allows it. Would you have any suggestions on how to ground the preamp though?

I am also in the UK too. How would I go about properly grounding the system to avoid this buzz?

It does go away, but doesn't having that switch on completely negate the purpose of having a separate preamp? Connecting the turntable to a separate preamp is the same as connecting it to a phono input in an integrated amplifier as shown in the manual.

I've noticed that the Magni 2 Uber is a headphone amp and cannot drive speakers. Do you have any suggestions for amps that can drive speakers and headphones (without the optical input)?

I'm just a bit conflicted on whether or not to just sell my headphone amp and buy and integrated one (for money purposes) or continue to save towards a power amp.

I was hoping for an amplifier with a built in DAC, such as the Marantz PM6005 or similar. But thank you for your other suggestion too. In terms of the headphones, I am using the Oppo PM3's. As far as I'm aware, they have a very low impedance of 26ohms.
