    I'm running Fedora and everything is ok. So I think there are no any constraints to run it under Ubuntu. You need to select DigiHug USB Spdiff out. DeadBeef is a good player to do so.

    Hi, Gustard H12(H10) will be a good option in this way if you have no budget constraints. Or you can try any card with XMOS chip as usb receiver. I have no problems with XMOS cards on Fedora at all. Good luck!

    As combo as DAC/amp for sure. T1 have good DAC part (musical and enjoyable with good tube). I have Sabre DAC (NFB-11 from Audio- GD). I think that it have same level as GreekOut advised by you. I still prefer Aune T1 as DAC only. I will show one photo for you: Fortunately I have good tubes...
