Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
thanks for the tips, very much appreciated. I thought 3.5mm would retain the better quality than bluetooth btw Joe Hisaishi has a whole mastered quality album on Tidal https://tidal.com/browse/album/131721144- chriscym

I have a try with Tidal, found the same song but with different album , mastered copy , no distortion. Found the same album in Spotify as well no distortion, I'm glad the earlier problem was due to poor quality record https://tidal.com/track/131721170- chriscym

Thanks for your reply Asspirin & Pro-Jules, usually I listen at 80% even at 80% there are some noticeable distortion so I put at 100% is more noticeable. As some pointed out that PX7 at 100% isnt loud enough for some, for me 80% is just nice. I hope its just an artifact issue.- chriscym

Hi guys, can anyone help me to test this track "The Wind of Life" by Joe Hisaishi ? I wanted to know if my PX7's issue or the recording quality, I listen to this using bluetooth APTX HD, set the highest spotify quality. At volume 100% there is a very noticeable distortion especially when the...- chriscym

same here I am using PX7 with pixel 4xl. I used to have Pixel 2xl, noticeable difference is the bluetooth 5.0 support, I can get slightly more range without losing bluetooth connection- chriscym

as I have guess, the heat somehow affected the sensors, but i am surpised they didnt use proximity sensor instead using a similar tech like in touch screen- chriscym

when the sensors stop working, did u feel if its warm or probably there is sweat while the heaphone is still on? I live in tropical country , I notice the sensor stop working during when its warm and a bit of sweat. I am just guessing if that could be the case.- chriscym

I had the same issue as yours. I think it could be a design flaw. My first pair of PX7 work better with the left sensor than the right, my 2nd pair is quite consistent, but like u said the sensor stop working after some time wearing, but i notice that if heat built up the sensor is less...- chriscym

maybe a bit off topic, refering to Aptx Voice article https://www.xda-developers.com/qualcomm-aptx-voice-bluetooth-audio-codec-improved-voice-call-quality/ it mentioned that "the new codec is part of the aptX Adaptive audio family." & "The aptX Voice will be offered as an optional codec in the...- chriscym

thanks I have yet to update to firmware 1.1. I will try tidal and see if the same issue happen. It sounds like a broken driver on certain frequencies , I hope its just software.- chriscym
