Whisky (or Whiskey) Fi
A whiskey buff friend and I organized a 10 part blind tasting and what we both chose as our favorite was Old Grand-dad Bonded, about $20 a bottle. Produced by Jim Beam. I think buffalo trace is one of the best values in whiskey. It's high end brother Blantons is my favorite bourbon but it's a...- charlee

What’s your favorite 2ch speaker pair currently?
I’ve had a pair of JBL L7s that I have used as my fronts for about 20 years. Since then I bought a pair of L5s for surrounds and a single L1 bookshelf for the center. More interested in music (especially multi-channel) than movies. Also have a pair of PSA V1500 subs to round out 5.2 set up. The...- charlee

Best IEM tips?
I’m trying to find foam tips that fit the GuideRay iems. They say they are a 3.3 mm nozzle, and I’m having no luck finding any that are for that specific size. They’re all larger. Anyone seen anything that might work for me out there?- charlee

Desk mic
I have been using a Sennheiser UC 1 for a while now with great results. However, I am looking for a sensitive desk mic that I might be able to speak to with about the same low volume with the same accuracy but without having to wear a headset. I work in a quiet private office with at most a...- charlee

Kojima's Death Stranding
This game has some of the most confusing menus and interface designs, Japanese devs never make it easy don't they. I gotta say, the gameplay loop is getting boring for me now after 5 hours, it's just not exciting to deliver utterly random crap to utterly random peeps just for Likes. I hope the...- charlee

Which headphones do you use for PC gaming?
I purchased a set of Corsair HS70 Wireless 7.1 for my son, and he likes them. I think they're a bit heavy (330g). Can't say how they work with glasses, but my son has a large head (XXL hat size) and that's not a problem. Compatible with PC and PS4.- charlee

Gaming mouse for large/big hands?
I use a Mionix Avior 7000. Mionix makes some quality mice but they usually put crappy sensors in them. For the 7000 series though, they used top-notch ones. I have had it for 4 years and have not had the slightest problem with it, the software it uses for customization is also very light and...- charlee

Best game soundtrack?
Activision had lots of cool music in their games right around that time. Mechwarrior 2 had a good martial-themed score, I recall. Some of my favorite game music came from throwaway titles like FXFighter and Darklight Conflict. I still have MP3s of some of the songs from those games floating...- charlee

Are you a console or PC gamer?
I play on PS4 now. Simply cant keep up with all the pc hardware changes. Not to mention the costs. If I had to choose, and money was no object, I would go for pc gaming. I miss fiddling with the mouse.- charlee
