Nice! I also have a similar s/n 208xx. Just got my FR graph. No spike at 6k! I've been so happy with my purchase. Enjoy!- CDewey

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
So far I've only had mine for just over a week. So far they have sounded fantastic with every genre I have thrown at them. I can't wait to start making upgrades to the chain to get the most out of them. I think the Bryston Headphone amp is my next purchase.- CDewey

Quote: It has a lot to do with your reviews... I've never heard it, but like the Bryston brand in general, doubt I'll be disappointed. I use their dac and preamp on one of the systems at work and love them.- CDewey

Still breaking my new pair in 208XX. I know these are the cans for me. Next will be upgrading the chain. I like my integrated unit because I like speakers and simplicity. However thinking of the Bryston headphone amp next haha- CDewey

Bass-Basshead Headphones with detail, ear massage, midbass/subbass?
Lets not all get our panties bunched up. I've read a few responses from Mal that sounded a bit harsh. I even called him out on it once, then I've come to realize that is just how he speaks, he doesn't sugar coat a damn thing. Overall every response seems to be pertaining to the thread at...- CDewey

I switched over to Cans from IEMs........... you???
I've never gone the custom IEM route, but I agree, with my funky ears, I could never get a perfect fit that would stay comfortable for me.- CDewey

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
l You could always start with a partial mod. Dampen the frame, but don't dampen the cups. The angle pads also help with soundstage and won't effect the woods resonance.- CDewey

Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...
Didn't know that stand existed. It's in stock at several of my local stores. Going to have to grab a few.- CDewey
