HD800 is pure magic ultimately amped ! I use it with 2 Questyle CMA800R as monoblocs, with preamp and balanced cable from Craig Sanborn, at Whiplash Audio. Amazing !

Nice for you to have found one. But if you want to have ultimate experience, really buy another one to have balanced listening. You will enter in another world, at least as far as HD800 is concerned !

Full power, perfect match for HD800. I sold WOO WA22 for it and don't regret . Still better with a balanced passive preamp, that's my way to use it. HD800 is the best of all headphones, when perfectly amped.
