Sleek Audio CT20: First Impressions
By this logic, having full sized headphones and just stuffing as many drivers as possible into them will create a world of sound that doesn't even exist yet. I believe I am onto something. Here is what it will be like- carnival

Well rounded IEMs for <$150 (reggae and jazz)
Not sure about the DDMs.. Still searching. Right now I'm considering the DBA-02s and Phonak's PFEs..- carnival

Well rounded IEMs for <$150 (reggae and jazz)
I've heard great things about the Radius, but what concerns me is the isolation.. I don't want people to be hearing my music from across the room. Also, the fit issues complaint seems to spring up a few times..- carnival

Well rounded IEMs for <$150 (reggae and jazz)
Hey all, starting a new one of these as my interests have changed somewhat and I'm still on the search for IEMS.. I'm looking for a pair of IEMs that have a good overall sound. These will be primarily used for reggae and jazz, although I do listen to some classic rock and underground...- carnival

Alright bumping this and getting it back in the right direction. Read first post, that's still all true. I'm thinking I'm about ready to say 'no' to the DBA-02s. There's too much debate about them, and it's making me nervous. People are making them out to be vicious treble monsters, and even...- carnival

Saying this again. My only experience with treble-oriented HPs is with the 780s, which I thought were too harsh for my liking. Not sure if that helps with the DBA-02 decision.- carnival

Help with choosing IEMs
My roommate has the S4s. I wouldn't say that the bass is excessive, and I didn't really notice any problems with the highs.. They're more neutral than you would think, tbh. Also, it's been a while since I've listened to the s4s (might have to wake the roomie up and steal them) but I remember...- carnival

Are the Ultrasone HFI-780's right for me?
My experience with the 780s has not been an enjoyable one. I don't know why they are so well liked or recommended, personally. They have incredibly aggressive highs, from my experience. Regardless of high or low quality songs, I have found that listening to 's' sounds through the HFI780s is...- carnival

That's good.. I didn't think it would be a problem until a few people in this thread mentioned that they were sibilant.. I'm just worried because if I get them and they're too harsh, I'm stuck with them and out of $150.. I also don't know what tips I would use as I've never had a pair of IEMs...- carnival
