Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread
I just want to say that after 4 months with these headphones, their comfort is out the charts. There are moments in the day that I forget I have them on. Usually when I move out from my the desk and i feel that there's a cable between the laptop and my head.- capsilver

Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread
After a long quest for a perfect all around pair I bought them yesterday. They are an amazing mix between comfort and sound/built quality. The sound is crisp, the bass is on point and the soundstage is very present. The comfort, you put them and they're gone! Great all around headphones for...- capsilver

Mmm I didn't know that. With any other headphones it just work. Maybe be it was the test model or the cable. Because of what people say here about the 1AM2 and what I read in other sites it just doesn't make sense.- capsilver

I'm searching for this kind of headphone. Recommendations?
I just went to a Sony store with the idea of buying them. I tried them in store and immediately I felt that their were a little difficult to drive. I tested them with my LG V35 with HiFi DAC on and I had to use the volume to the max. Also one thing I noticed is that I listened Abbey Road album...- capsilver

Mmm i've tried the HD 25 and i loved their textured sound, but they are on-ear. How is the 250 sound compared to the 25? Mmm they look big, like Fidelio X2 big. Also i'm not a fan of the wooden parts, any black version? Comfort is important if i planning to use them all day. Damn those...- capsilver

Portable over-ear/closed back headphones under 200 USD?
Exactly from the list i posted i tried both Beyerdynamic 770, 240 and the Senn HD 25. The HD 25 clicked instantly on me. Very clear and rich sound. I don't know if the Audio-Technica m50x or m60x will do the job. I must try them. Some friends say the Shure 440 but i don't know.- capsilver
