Comment by 'capetownwatches' on listing 'Resonessence Labs Concero HP'

The Conceros (all three of them) are incredible sounding little devices. I have the OG Concero and will never part with it. The fact that it's tiny and USB powered beggars belief. Resonessence got the secret sauce right with these diminutive masterpieces. For the money nothing comes close...GLWS!

Cayin iHA-6 - US Tour and reviews

Glad you've found a way to listen without noise but it addresses the symptom, not the cause. I'm keen to read your feedback on running the Bifrost balanced into the iHA-6. Do try the Auteur from the 4 pin output again once cabled this way. I enjoy my HD6xx from the high impedance output from...

Opening the $7,999 Zähl HM1 amplifier with Michael Zähl!

Methinks the young man might have been a little star-struck...Herr Zahl is a big deal in certain circles! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Cayin iHA-6 - US Tour and reviews

I cannot imagine that having selectable voltage would be the root cause of your noise issues, but stranger things have happened. Keep at it and hopefully you'll come right without needing any repairs.

Cayin iHA-6 - US Tour and reviews

I might mention that my gears reside on a custom wood and steel rack on my desk and there is about 6 inches space between components. I don't like stacking gear! That said, there is a big PC under the desk and 2 large monitors on the desk as well as an IP phone. It's likely that I might hear...

Cayin iHA-6 - US Tour and reviews

If we optimistically assume that the problem does not lie with the amp itself, it will hopefully be fairly easy to isolate by process of elimination. That's what this hobby is all about...even the smallest tweak can bring unexpected benefits. I hope you sort it out fast and can get back to...

Cayin iHA-6 - US Tour and reviews

I'm currently using my iHA-6 with a Resonessence Concero into a Bifrost Uber via coax. All single ended and if I max the pot (with no music playing, obviously) using 4 pin balanced Ananda...total silence. Similarly running a balanced DAC - I have only ever heard some hiss with ultra sensitive...

Cayin iHA-6 - US Tour and reviews

The iHA-6 is designed to drive all headphones to their full potential. High impedance dynamics like your Atticus and HD600 are easily driven with voltage to spare. Most low impedance Planars such as your LCD-XC sound especially good using the Cayin's high current setting. At the price I...

    Introducing HIFIMAN Ananda Nano

Honestly? I think it's to make prospective purchasers think that they are easy to drive. Which they ain't and to be honest neither are the previous iteration 103dB / 25Ohm versions.

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!

I cannot think of another heavy, substantial (44mm) watch that wears as comfortably as this Chronomat Evolution on Pilot bracelet. My poor photos don't capture the stunning Mother of Pearl dial at all well unfortunately.

    Hifiman Ananda

Did I miss something...? What are the differences between the three versions? I only know of mine (non-stealth) and the newer stealth versions.
