I've researched them and they don't seem like they would work for what I need them for. They need to be able to plug into my amp (I play bass) and be easily managed and robust.

So I play in pit orchestras a lot and, recently, we are being run through the house system and we get to keep out amps as monitors just so we can hear ourselves. Well I don't know if it's because of the difference in location or because the keyboard's monitor is so dang loud, but I can't hear...
