Soundmagic PL-21 Discountined?
I've been using the PL-21 for like 6 months now as my primary means of listening. I've actually doubled them as running headphones, which has been a pleasant surprise, as I've been struggling with filling that niche forever. I guess you could argue you shouldn't run with IEMs but whatever...- buffheman

How to replace my Shure e4c?
It's gotta be at the plug. I'd appreciate some help. I'm willing to try and fix it myself, though I don't have any electronic experience. So if it's particularly difficult, I might seek out some local help.- buffheman

How to replace my Shure e4c?
I'm also open to the idea of repairing my Shures. I listened to them today for the first time in a while to see if I could nail down the issue. They are actually still capable of original sound when I get the wiring held just right, but I'm pretty sure I have a wiring issue near the jack. If...- buffheman

SoundMagic PL21 Foam Tips?
There must be some miscommunication. I ordered the T-400, and they do not fit at all. The headphones just fall out of the tips.- buffheman

How to replace my Shure e4c?
I definitely want the same sound. I am not a bass junky and am quick to dismiss a lot of speaker/headphones as muddy. I do not like these PL-21, does the PL-50 sound considerably different?- buffheman

How to replace my Shure e4c?
It's hard to tell. On the right bud, I think it's just cabling. It crackles and fades in and out a lot, but I can get good sound if I hold it just right. For the left though, the sound is really faded and quiet. It doesn't crackle as much as the right bud, but one day while I was...- buffheman

How to replace my Shure e4c?
I've been listening to these guys for I guess like 4 years now. I sent one pair back within the 2yr warranty, and my second pair got me another year and a half... but now they are dying. As a quick replacement to get something listenable, I ordered the SoundMagic PL-21... super cheap and...- buffheman

SoundMagic PL21 Foam Tips?
I have looked everywhere to find some information on a compatible foam tip with the PL21. They don't ship with them anymore, and I must have some! They aren't listed on the Comply website, so I don't know if any of those will fit. I have a bunch of tips for my old Shure e4c, but I don't know...- buffheman

I might need to upgrade...
So I got some HD 280s for Xmas as my first plunge into higher quality audio. I know people say they aren't great, but given that I'm no audiophile, it seemed like a good first step, and I like them a lot. I'm slowly ripping my cd collection to lossless, and I think I'm starting to notice a...- buffheman

Amp for HD280s
I mean... I like them too, but then again, I've never had any sort of quality sound system. I'm on my way up, full time jobs are sweet. I was trying to decide between an amp and a new sound card... maybe I'll go with the sound card... or a sound card with a built in amp! Currently ripping all...- buffheman

Amp for HD280s
I really just got these as a gift, and am none to anxious to replace them. My budget is pretty low right now, in the $100-$150 range, which isn't enough really to buy pair of cans better enough to justify them. If an amplifier was going to help out with these, I would consider it, but it sounds...- buffheman

Amp for HD280s
I just got a pair of HD280s for Xmas. I know a lot of people don't like them, but they're a heck of a lot better than my speakers. I have several questions, but primarily, what would you recommend to amplify these headphones, or do I need one? I've heard conflicting opinions as to whether it...- buffheman
