Sony MDR 7560 right channel stopped working.
Any ideas? I was sitting still, actively listening to some tunes when the right channel completely stopped. No static, no cutting in and out, just DEAD. Left channel stayed true, sounds fine. They're great headphones, but they're only 90 bucks. Should I just get a new pair? I've only had them...- btsgreg

Help me get started with EDM

I have now had two extension cables fail me, any ideas?
Quote: I plug and unplug the cables quite often, and I wrap them around my fist once every so often. They really don't get too much wear, nothing out of the ordinary. -
I have now had two extension cables fail me, any ideas?
I had used the same extension cable (which leads to my PC's tower) for quite a while, until the the cable would no longer feed the left channel. Plugging the headphones directly into my PC worked fine, and I determined the cable was the problem doing a couple other tests. No big deal. I...- btsgreg

Which Audio-Technica's should I buy? ATH-A700... or ATH-AD700?
They're actually for a friend, and his main use will be gaming, music, and the occasional movie. I recommended the A700s, but he's curious if the D700s would suit his needs better, and I don't know much about them myself. Has anyone had experience with either of these headphones? ...- btsgreg

Sway me into buying the AD700 for gaming
I believe that open-design headphones have a greater soundstage than those that are closed. A greater soundstage could mean better accuracy at picking out a sound's location. Maybe that will help you in your decision. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.- btsgreg
