Music, what is your guilty pleasure?

New wave/80's in general. Especially for dancing purposes. I can even take it a step further and say seeing an 80's cover band called "16 Candles" is one of my music guilty pleasures. I think one of the best responses I've heard from this question is "Happy Hardcore" by one of my coworkers.

    guitar pedal recommendations

Hello, I recently purchased a new telecaster and a used fender hot rod deluxe amp. I'm really in love with it. It's great sound motivates me so much to get better and better at playing the guitar. Anyway, I'm in the market for a foot pedal to throw in the mix. I'm not overly concerned about...

win2000 will work just fine for you. I think XP may be worse for you if this PC is old.

sigur ros and the life aquatic

Watched the life aquatic last night for the fifth or so time and every time it gets to the scene where they find the jaguar shark I always wonder what the song is that's playing during that moment. Finally remembered to look it up and it's sigur ros-staralflur. I've never listened to sigur ros...

    First daily stick shift car...

I generally never drive manual trans cars but whenever I do I always try and idle in neutral (best to be in a lot for this) then I put it in 1st and I slowly let the clutch out to figure out what point the clutch catches the gear. I do that for a little while until im comfortable with it. Then...

    Suggestions for an ADSL gateway?

you could go the nerd route and build your own router/gateway/AP. That's what I did. I got sick of the performance of wireless routers so I put together a PC with three NIC cards, adjusted one of my wireless routers to be an access point. I then installed IPcop onto my router PC and TADA! I now...

easiest acoustic guitar make/model to play

Thanks for all the advice. Seems like the martin is a popular choice here or an alvarez. Since I can't readily get my hands on an alvarez, I'll probably take a look at the martin lxm first and then try and find an alvarez somewhere. thanks again.

easiest acoustic guitar make/model to play

I occassionally pick up the guitar and play by myself sometimes around people but in all I really don't play the guitar alot. Right now I own a brownsville electric that's really easy to play (especially with medium gauge fender bullet strings...so nice on the fingers) and an ibanez v70...
