Unfortunately this cable does not work with the s4. It charges the e17...but that's about it.

Yeah, that size isn't going to work very well for you if you're trying to stack the two. I'll be on the lookout for something longer.

I hear you, and you're right. I have the M-100s and I think I'll be sticking with them for a while. They're not hard to drive but I'd like to clean things up a bit with a good amp.   I just ordered the e17 from Amazon and it should be delivered by Thursday. Stay tuned for an update!

Will your laptop be the only source for music? The e09k is just an amplifier and not a dac so it won't act as an external sound card for your computer. The e07k and e17k are both dac amp combos, so they can convert digital to analog as well as amplify the sound. If the sound card in your laptop...
