Two things, are you sure this isn't a hardware limitation vs software? Plus, would APTx HD be significantly better than SSC? I have and use S23U and Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and end up using SSC. I don't have a TWS that have AptX HD codec, thus I would be able to compare if the phone had it as option.

I haven't noticed it. Try switching the earcup foams and see if the ANC issue switches ears. If so, it's the pads are not getting similar seals around your ears. If not, possible defect or your head shape.
