Recommendations on upgrading from ATH M50's to other closed cans...
I've been given the opportunity to get some Viso Nad HP50's for a decent price. Can anyone comment on the level of sound leakage?- boredandlazy

Recommendations on upgrading from ATH M50's to other closed cans...
Thanks, I'll do a bit of research on those. I can get them from a reputable online retailer for $249 so if I choose them I might go that route instead even though it's $9 more expensive.- boredandlazy

Recommendations on upgrading from ATH M50's to other closed cans...
So, I've seen few people mention HM5's and SRH940's. Any word on how those compare to the M50?- boredandlazy

Recommendations on upgrading from ATH M50's to other closed cans...
Hi Everyone, I currently use ATH M50's plugged into a Fiio E17 and I really like the sound. But for some reason I thought recently it would be a good idea to get some decent bluetooth headphones for convenience sake at work, but after trying a couple of pairs (namely the Meeletronics Matrix2...- boredandlazy

PULSE wireless stereo headset - Elite Edition
I just bought some of these the other day, but I find the clamping pressure of the headband too tight. Did anyone have the same issue? If so how did you fix it?- boredandlazy

Fiio E17 DAC/Amp (ALPEN) + Fiio E09K Desktop Amp (QOGIR) Pictures, Impressions and Review [UPDATED Feb. 21]
Actually, after playing around with it a bit having the ability to control the headphone volume independently of the speakers is probably a better thing in the long run. It means that rather than unplugging my headphones all the time if I want to listen on the speakers I can simply turn down the...- boredandlazy

Fiio E17 DAC/Amp (ALPEN) + Fiio E09K Desktop Amp (QOGIR) Pictures, Impressions and Review [UPDATED Feb. 21]
Yes I did. The only difference that makes is that it changes whether the controls on the E17 work or not. The E09K volume knob still does nothing to the line out volume.- boredandlazy

Fiio E17 DAC/Amp (ALPEN) + Fiio E09K Desktop Amp (QOGIR) Pictures, Impressions and Review [UPDATED Feb. 21]
So I got my E09K today... And as I initially suspected the volume knob DOESN'T work when using the line out. To say I'm disappointed is a bit of an understatement... But it's not the end of the world, it just means there'll be a little bit more manual intervention required in order to use it how...- boredandlazy

Fiio E17 DAC/Amp (ALPEN) + Fiio E09K Desktop Amp (QOGIR) Pictures, Impressions and Review [UPDATED Feb. 21]
So you can't use the E09K's volume knob when using the Line Out? One of the reasons I'm considering this is that I find that when using the L7 line out dock from my E17 the volume just isn't high enough unless I crank up the gain, which I don't want to do. I'm just worried the line out from the...- boredandlazy

Fiio E17 DAC/Amp (ALPEN) + Fiio E09K Desktop Amp (QOGIR) Pictures, Impressions and Review [UPDATED Feb. 21]
I already have the E17 and I am strongly considering getting the E09K as well. One question though, if I was running sound from the USB port on my laptop to the E09K, which port would I use on the back of the E09K to output to speakers whilst my E17 is docked (providing I want to use the E09K...- boredandlazy

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
Just received my E17 today, and even plugged into my relatively low range Audio-Technica ATH-T400 heaphones playing lossy mp3's the upgrade over my laptop audio was awesome. :) Also as I'd hoped the E17 doesn't have issues chopping off the front of sounds like the ASUS XONAR U3 does.- boredandlazy

Anyone have experience with ATH-T400?
Quote: I just received my pair of these for the same $20 deal that I assume you were going for and even after only an hour I'm quite impressed. Sure there are better, but for $20 I don't think I could have gotten better headphones anywhere. They're super comfortable too.- boredandlazy

Fiio Andes (E07K) VS. Fiio E17: What's the difference, and how does it sway the amateur audiophile?
I was looking at getting the E17 but then I noticed the E07K does pretty much everything I'll need it to do but of course it'll be much cheaper. But I do have one query which needs answering. I've been reading up on how the E10 has the issue where the first 0.7s of any new sound is cut off...- boredandlazy
