The Brise Audio Japan Cable Thread

The BSEP has different thicknesses I believe. I have the BSEP for my IE600s, but from reading the IE900 thread, it sounds like that latter may be thicker. I would check on that before making the purchase just so you are not surprised. Good luck

My Flex001 does the same. My BSEP for my IE600s does not do this.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Just the standard Bang and Olufsen headphone app. On an Android media player (Sony Walkman), it says "this app won't work for your device" in the Play store. I have gotten the same result across multiple Walkmans/headphones now dating back to when I had the H95 and EQs. Support opened a defect...

The AZ80s beat the EX on call quality as well. I only initially tested the EX with calls due to occlusion with the ambient mode being no existent. My coworker said the 80s sounded really good, and just "not bad" with the EX. *note that I tested the EX a while back when I got them new and did not...

I have both. Personally, I like the AZ80s better as their features outside of SQ are better. For example, the Noise cancelling, ambient mode, mics are much better than the EX. Transparency mode on the EX shouldn't even be called transparency mode, it's awful. Comfort wise they are very similar...

I use the Final TWS tips on mine and am pleased with the outcome (fit/sound). I prefer the AZ80s personally as they have a fuller sound to them, but do enjoy both. The AZ80s of course are larger than the Sony's, but still very comfortable to me.

Have you tried/heard the Sony XM5s (lower profile) or the Technics AZ80s?

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

Looks like Akihabara has at least some of what you are looking for ;) Better bring the "big" card when you go. https://www.e-earphone.jp/products/detail/17842/2069/

didn't pay close enough attention on wired gear, but e-earphone in Akihabara is a great store for trying out gear. They have a great selection too.

Personally, I like the Treble+ setting. I don't have any issues with LDAC, might find some additional information in the AZ-80 thread that is out on the forums.

Dont forget to try the treble+ setting on the Technics. Out of box sound is not impressive
