    Did Null Audio take my money and run?

    Cool on you. Yeah, I definitely factored COVID-19 in as to the timing of when I started inquiring about the status of my order. But > 6 months waiting, I figured certainly by NOW a status update was not out of line.

    Did Null Audio take my money and run?

    I ordered a pair of AAW A3H's - their triple driver hybrid customs. Bought 'em to use strictly in my recording studio - something inexpensive and utilitarian as cables and gear in general take a bit of a beating in my studio. I'm sure I paid with a credit card - it's been so damn long I forget...

    Did Null Audio take my money and run?

    So I ordered some IEM's back in January and haven't heard anything since. I have contacted them a half dozen times and initially got a couple "we'll look into it" type responses (and never did). And with the last several communications it's crickets. Am I getting my panties in a wad over...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    So...should the volume remain the same across all apps? I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem (spontaneous ear-bleed volume levels), which I managed to fix, but now I notice that the volume changes levels when I open different apps. Additionally, the volume listed at the very top of the screen...

    Uh Oh... Ran into a problem in the Android OS (running the 1st official Oreo release with Lurker's tweak over top). I was listening to Neutron and somehow the volume instantly went to maximum. Besides the nearly rupturing an ear drum and giving me a heart attack, I was worried that I...

    Yes, through Mango OS. Only. I'll give Neutron and Mango App a whirl later today.

    Interesting... I decided to do a comparative listen on my Mactop using Audirvana+ for playback and some full size cans just plugged straight into the computer. Significantly better now vs. playback on DX200/Neutron OS. The volume is the same on the native WAV file and on the upsampled DSD 512...

    Well, I tried upsampling one 44.1/16-bit album to DSD 512 with XiSRC on my laptop, and I have to say, it sounded pretty awful. It came out significantly louder than the original source file with a higher noise floor and distortion. I used the default settings, though I did use the ISP...

    Sorry to stoopid the place up, but... What is it exactly we're doing here with XiSRC and AuI? Upsampling our wav files to DSD? I happen to own XiSRC already which I purchased as a replacement for the free version of Voxengo's r8brain for converting the music I write/record in my DAW to...
