I just tried the 840s about 1 hour ago, they are damn isolating, I put them on me: music was hurting my ears, I took them off and I put the cups together, and barely anything. so the 750s are better than the hd 25?

The only important factors are isolation, and I will not be using amplification.

I will be using them with an iPod and no amp.
