I just tried the 840s about 1 hour ago, they are damn isolating, I put them on me: music was hurting my ears, I took them off and I put the cups together, and barely anything. so the 750s are better than the hd 25?

How is this particular headphone compared to the Sennheiser HD-25 1 II?

Are the DJ1s off the table?

The only important factors are isolation, and I will not be using amplification.

I will be using them with an iPod and no amp.

Which of these are the better headphones? I will be using them without an amp, from an iPod. Isolation is important.
