Most people are happy with 128kbs commercialized Spotify so I doubt you are getting a "gimped" version. I have 2x Gungnir multibits now, 1 for the desktop that sees some 24bit songs and 1 for the CD player. Even the CDs I have are probably not reaching 16 bits.

New way to do a stack. Needed to raise my Apple Studio Display without paying $400 for the height adjustment. Rearranged the whole desk, too. Headphones are now hanging from under desk on a hook. Gungnir is the DAC that keeps on giving :D.

I bought mine a while back, close to when they came out. Came back to the forum and there are 25 pages of content - wow. I still don't have issues, so may be for the ones having them they were part of a bad batch. The amps should have warranties.

I guess I am leaving it on. Due to work hours, children, and limited time, even if amp is left on, it's no more than 2-3 hours per day, and not everyday. I guess the tube will be fine. Thanks for the input.

I have been using it as a desktop amp. Since I sit down and up often, I can't wait 5-10 min for tube to warm up just to listen to 1-2 songs or a 5 min video. I may just remove the tube and run it solid state mode rather than turning it on and off 5+ times a day. Bummer that I ordered with a tube...

Not that bad if you have good source. I have Gungnir MB when VCXO was there. I would have gotter a OG Yggdrassil, but didn't have the money. I don't want to get the LiM. You will be happy with either one, however.
