Thanks guys, just got the combo and it works great - but I've noticed that you can adjust the volume either through the volume knob on the E9, or through the buttons on the E17...   Is it better to have the volume turned up high on the E17 and low on the E9, or vice versa? Or does this not...

I am making a list - so far I got Westone 4R, Ultimate Ears UE900, Sony XBA-4, Nuforce Primo 8 and Shure SE846.   Are there any more? I'm particularly looking for one with a treble-heavy, bass and mid-lite sound signature, which none of the above really has.   Thanks a lot in advance...

Can Soundmagic HP100 be added here?

As title says, is there a decent way of doing this?   I like the neck-band style, and I have a Beyerdynamic headphone with a neckband but poor audio quality - can I somehow glue the neckband onto the PX100? And woulld the results be ok?   Has anyone done anything like this?

You noticed a big difference?   What bitrate was your music ripped at before you went to lossless?   Are you saying you could notice a big difference between 320 and lossless?

Thanks for your input, people... The only thing is, I do like bass response. Really deep and accurate. Does the 320kbps cut out the low frequencies noticeably?

They say the quality can only ever be as good as the source. 99.9% of my music is downloaded at 320kbps - given this - is it even worth investing in high-end headphones such as the HE-6's or LCD-2's or HD800's of this world?   Similarly, is it worth buying the amps required to drive these...
