Good suggestion. I have noticed, on the 595 appreciation thread that some people have found their 595's needed weeks of running-in, whilst others liked the sound straight from the box. I have plugged my phones into a spare DAB portable and will leave them running for the next few days...

My son had some Beyer DT770's for Christmas. They sounded great on my Onkyo CR-715DAB - even straight out of the box. I know many radio studios use these and some say the sound can be a bit harsh over time. I decided to get Senn 595's instead. Similar price (I paid £77 from Amazon) but more home...
