if you have a blackberry phone, they usually comes with iem. use the gel tip from them. they fit really well with the triple.fi.  the only prob with them is that you can't find the tip by itself. if you want the tip, you ll have to shell out for the blackberry iem...

If you get the IE8, just make sure your source is high quality recordings.  I have the triple.fi 10 and the IE8.  The IE8 is a lot more sensitive to bad recordings. And also, IE8 sounds fine without an amp.

For hip hop you can try IE8. I got it at ecost.com for about 240 bucks with tax + shipping. Not sure about how it plays with the other genre. It definitely cant reproduce the high as good as the triple but it is close enough.

I ll try to take your advice dweaver. And I don't think something is wrong with my ears. I got a triple.fi and comparing it to the blackberry is like a different between night and day... I just didn't get the same affect as the IE8.

If you are buying the cable from null audio, I heard the enyo retains the sound while the lune change the sound quite a bit (not sure about this though)

I dont wear mine over the ears. Just straight down with the right iem in the left ear and the left iem in the right ear. I guess the orientation of the music is changed but it doesnt matter because I am just listening to music. its not like I am watching a movie or playing video games with them...

I use the medium silicone tips from the blackberry IEM. Seal the ears really well, and it is softer than the UE silicone tips

Why don't you try out a pair? I got one from that 99 dollar deal and it is the best IEM i hear to date. Beside, the sound signature from the triple.fi seems to be retain from what people say. Strong bass and good/clear highs. Instead of discrediting the quality because of the cheaper price just...
