Out of curiousity, do you like this over the DT1990 for competitive gaming?

Im intrigued to see what people who own/have owned a liquid gold say about this guy.

I bought it, I think im just gonna receive it and have it be my "endgame". :beerchug:

Are we able to change out op amps for this unit?

I think it has better speed/dynamics and slightly better extension.

I know hart audio is making them, also any custom cable maker should be able to make one as long as you provide the pinout.

Ill give the next iteration of the product a try lol. Its so close yet so far.

Max settings, yeah I was one of those two. It sounded good(on par with LCD2, with a slightly bigger soundstage), but if I had to replace the headband and make a custom cable like I was eventually going to do if i kept it. I decided I might as well get a used lcd2 ready to go for around $500 and...

I ended up returning my pair, I was annoyed with the lack of a cable and the headband being a bit loose. I decided that If I could get a used LCD2(which is very similar sound wise) for 500 Ish dollars with a balanced cable and without a need to replace the headband that would be the better way...

Upon further inspection, I couldnt help but notice the stock pads cover some parts of the fazor/waveguides of the M1570 (2 rows towards the back of the headphone and 1 row towards the front) Ive ordered some pads with wider openings like the brainwavz XL pads and dekoni th900 pads to see if this...
