Fostex t50rp mods - threads are intimidating (Need help)

Get the Fostex T20RP's - you can always block the vents to tune the bass - love them for electronic music. Too bass heavy for rock, I use other cans to listen to that.

Why are threre no lady audiophiles?

You are a rare bird. In the years that I've been listening to audio (it started with a tube radiogram and a tube Philips reel to reel) and hanging out in listening rooms I've not come across one.

Why are threre no lady audiophiles?

Had to get rid of the Maggies and the mono blocks when I got married. A fair amount of audiophiles buy based on **** - the wife's approval thumbs-up... I go to a lot of live music with my girlfriend (I'm no longer married) who is into listening to music, so I'm very lucky.   My theory is that...

Why do no audiophiles listen to electronic music?

Which brings back to the topic of this thread. Why audiophiles don't listen to electronic music. I disagree with that statement, we do, I do. Some audiophiles listen with their eyes and to music that makes their high dollar 'investment' sound good or flatter it.   I think we must differentiate...

Why do no audiophiles listen to electronic music?

I agree, but we still haven't defined what kind of music it is. It's like saying this is a car or this is wine - All music is analog or else we wouldn't hear it..

The one guy didn't show up (Raja) but Simon was the bomb. They're releasing their Red Rocks album shortly.

Why do no audiophiles listen to electronic music?

I wonder what an original Moog sells for? The whole synthesized music bit went too far, many thought (and still think) that ELP played .pretentious music. IMO the current love affair with bass heavy computer generate sound will die and acoustic or at least bare music that is melodic will be in...

Why do no audiophiles listen to electronic music?

I'm 58 and enjoy electronic music, It depends what you call electronic music. The  birth of (modern) electronic music coincides with the invention of the Moog synthesizer and evolved from there. I find listening to the modern genres is difficult, a lot of it hurts. Here's a song off the album...
