Anyone heard the new Sleep album? holy wow..

The new sleep album sounds a bit too dooomy on my IE80s. Its a bit too mid bassy for metal/rock. Anyone with IE800/CA Atlas care to comment?

Any thoughts on the campfire Audio Atlas? Heard its bass is even better than vega.

When you do, could you please give some impressions/comparisons straight out of the V30? I don't have an amp and Im curious if my V30 can suitably drive these.

How does this or IE800 compare with the Sony XBA-Z5?

The vega is NOT worth the price that it is going for really. The EX1000 can give it a run for its money anyday. You can great bass and great mids but you don't really need to spend $1300 for it imo.

what would be your recommendation for best allrounder(bass emphasis needed) in the price range of IE800, XBA-Z5, Shure846? I'm not gonna be using an AMP just straight out of my V30.

Please consider this as a suggestion. Wanna test how good the bass on your iem is? Why not have a list of benchmark songs and measure them against factors such as quality/depth, Impact, decay and quantity of bass that the iem is correctly able to reproduce? Yes I know just any hip hop or trance...

Holy **** I want these so bad. Theres only one shop which sells these down here in aus and its so pricey (960$) that its unreal! 

Could you explain in lay man terms the difference in using a Peak eq vs low shelf? Also whats Q,S and BW in the various bands?
