    Futuresonics Atrio M5

Sorry guys, didn't know this was a touchy subject. I put 'em on when the car was running... Maybe there should be a convention, like Sarcasm is in italics or something. Anyhow, attempt to tell a funny story = pissed off people. sigh Ya know I had written a sarcastic reply but then I deleated...

    Futuresonics Atrio M5

Ok I've run across a major problem with my M5's. When I parked my car to go to class I totally missed the buzzer telling me my lights were on! Ahhh, the isolation works too well . Took me an hour to get jumped...

    Futuresonics Atrio M5

I loved them right out of the box. I use them with my i7, with all of the effects off. I'm not doing any break in, mainly because I love everything I threw at them, they loved Radiohead, b-boys, The Roots, Led Zeppelin, Mark Knopfler, Johnny Cash...everything. No sibilance at all, and nice full...

Cowon iAudio 7 and Portable Amps

I would have to agree. On a side note, I just finished my custom patch cord, and well, the i7 and amp combo, well, sorta looks like a b*mb.... I'm not really sure I can take it to my college campus, with all the shootings that occured last year. Here is a picture, you tell me.

Cowon iAudio 7 and Portable Amps

I wouldn't think I was missing out if I didn't have the amp, but I'm glad I do. You could buy an amp later and spead out the cost... If that answers your question

Cowon iAudio 7 and Portable Amps

I got the original Grado adapter from Headroom. BUT, all is well, a short trip to ratshack to pick up the adapter proper adapter and I was set. Also, my PA2V2 amp came today. So, I found that the i7 can run the SR225's unamped. I would say that it runs them up to about 75% of what they got...

Cowon iAudio 7 and Portable Amps

Well no A/B test, after filling it up with music I find that the Grado 1/4 to 1/8 adapter is fubar. When in use, sound only comes out of one side of the headphone, and it doesn't sound too good. Everything is fully seated, I was able to recreate the problem on my computer, home stereo and...

Does this qualify as portable audio = )

So I would say yes! You just need a handtruck and an extension cord....Quote from the site: "MUSIC TO GO. Anywhere. Anytime." I'm taking mine swimming!

Cowon iAudio 7 and Portable Amps

My i7 shows up today, and I got my Sr225's a few days ago so I'll report back after doing some A/B comparisons between the i7 and my home stereo both playing Flac files. Once the mailman brings my headsix and PA2V2 I'll see if a headphone amp helps or hurts 'em. If the i7 colors the sound after...

    Grado SR225 Thread

Just got mine today, without any burn in I already love 'em. I can already see that these are likely the best part of my home system, hopefully the rest of my portable system will do them justice. I'm running up against the usual problems, good stuff sounds great, bad recordings (low bit rate or...

Cowon iAudio 7 and Portable Amps

I've read a bit here about source volume and portable headphone amps. Some say 100% some say 75% and finally some say 50% and so on and on. I got a headphone amp (2 actually, a PA2V2 and a Headsix, to see which I liked more) for my i7 and I was wondering if anybody else is using an amp with...

Recommend some horror/sci-fi/fantasy novels for young readers

You were probably joking but Eric Carle RULES, IMO.... The Very Hungry Caterpillar has a great twist ending

Recommend some horror/sci-fi/fantasy novels for young readers

I would add Starship Troopers as well, it likely the only Heinlein book you could read in a school setting. Gosh I would love to add Neuromancer/Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive, but they might be to much, i.e. you might get fired , But if you haven't read them, do so, they are a must IMO
