IEMs that can handle amplification?
I don't know how it's under powering them when it's much louder than what they're probably designed for- a standard 3.5 headphone jack.- ATC BOSS

IEMs that can handle amplification?
I've got an old FiiO Alpen E17. It has burned out the right unit of Sennheiser IE80s and Westone Mach40s, and the left unit of Sennheiser IE300s. Anyone know of IEMs that can handle a lot of amplification? Ideally it can do 20hz to 18khz. And good bass without sounding muffled. I also tend...- ATC BOSS

Accurate impressions but as an IE 80 owner, 5 star on value really? Dude they are good but they are also expensive. We got what we paid for and no more. Lets not kid ourselves or anyone else here.- ATC BOSS

I don't know anything about soundstage and fancy audiophile terms but I've listened to plenty of audio from stock iPod buds, moderate over-ear and on-ear head phones good home stereos, clubs, professional concerts, orchestras.. Silicone bands?
I'd be in. I got a black/clear smoke one on my Kleer transmitter and I want more because they're great for strapping the mini FiiO amps onto iPod Nanos.
