Did anyone receive the $80 SCL4?
I was on that delayed shipment. None of the customer service guys ever knew any solid info, and I have a trip coming soon. Canceled them and went with NE-7Ms.- Argyle Shepard

NuForce Icon Micro Question
Yeah I mentioned this in the other thread. My PA2V2 at 12 o' clock will be as loud as the Icon mobile at full blast on high gain. It's the same with the USB out, if I'm listening to itunes I need to have the volume in the program 3/4 full and the icon's volume at about 90% to hear music at a...- Argyle Shepard

Promising new portable headphone amp (Mobile Icon) from NuForce
After reading impressions on the analog in I may just make this my permanent laptop amp. I was thinking of taking it with my ipod classic, but I'm so happy with my PA2V2 that I may just use that strictly for portable use. It's definitely brighter than anything I'm used to. I only had about an...- Argyle Shepard

REVIEW: Nuforce NE-7M iPhone IEM vs Denon C700 and Klipsch Image X10 (NE-8 Impressions Added 1/15/09)
I must be an anomaly because I received these today and just put them in with the stock silicone tips and they both suctioned perfectly. There was no discomfort and they provided a nice seal for bass. I have a 5 pair of complys on the way which will hopefully provide better isolation.- Argyle Shepard

Skullcandy Has Wooden Earphones, LOL!
Poking fun at Skullcandy feels wrong. It's like the slow kid in class, it's too easy to make fun of him, but you find yourself indulging anyway.- Argyle Shepard

Would the ESW9/10JPN be for me?
For what it's worth... I work in the media and my workplace is basically a huge newsroom with 50 TV's on at once, people yelling across the room at one another and overall medium loud chaos. When I have on my ESW9's all I hear is the sweet sweet strumming from my man Eric Clapton.- Argyle Shepard

What does it take to drive AKG 701's?
Not sure what cans you own but I highly recommend the PA2V2. It drove the heck out of my Beyer DT770's and adds nice color to my ESW9's. Thanks for the link.- Argyle Shepard

NEWBY NEEDS HELP!
Keep in mind that if you're in public, cans like the 700's are large enough that you will attract crowds of people asking if you work for Nasa.- Argyle Shepard
