Are my ears weird? IEM fit issues.

I just bought a pair of Xiaomi Pistons and I have no issue getting a good seal in my right ear, however I cannot for the life of me get a good fit in my left ear. There's massive sound leakage, bass response is nonexistent, etc. In the event that I do get a good seal in both ears, they're...

Where can you find Swan speakers nowadays? They seem out of stock on every website.

    b&w mm-1 thoughts

I just bought the B&W MM-1 (having had the Audioengine A5 previously for about 25 days), and they have quite a BIG bump at the low-100hz range, I'd say 115-105hz. They sounded better at the store, maybe my pair is defective...

Looking for active speakers *budget and options updated*

I would avoid the M-Audio BX5A D2s. I listened to them at Guitar Center and they are very disappointing for the price. Compared to the Mackie Mr5s next to them, the BX5a's highs sounded muffled and the bass response wasn't as clean, nor as plentiful.

    Computer speaker around 200$!!

Quote: The Alesis are the most accurate speakers I've owned so far, so you're looking for a flat response these are good. Their sound also greatly depends on your amp, so there's that. I wouldn't exactly call them fun speakers, which is why I don't use them much for gaming or...

    Computer speaker around 200$!!

For movies and gaming I would not recommend the Audioengines or the M-Audios. The ProMedias are better suited for that. Depending on your desk space, you might not want the Polk Monitor 40s either, as they are quite large. Having had and sold a set of Soundsticks IIIs, I didn't like them too...

JVC HA-RX700 wind-tunnel like ambient noise?

Quote: YES! This describes what I'm hearing almost perfectly. It bothered me enough to return it, as I found that the "seashell noise" cut into the clarity of the sound coming out of the drivers.

JVC HA-RX700 wind-tunnel like ambient noise?

I just bought and received my pair of JVC HA-RX700s, and whenever I put them on I feel like I'm in a wind tunnel because everything seems like it's being filtered or something. I don't have anything playing at all, and the headphone is not plugged in, so it can't be hissing. Does anyone else...

Tying up long cords with duct tape (or tape in general)?

I just got a pair of Q40s and the standard 3m cable length is too long for my liking. Right now I just have the cord looped in the middle and kept together with duct tape. Will duct tapes damage the cables in any way or should I look into cable ties/velcro ties?

    Fake Turbines?

A good general rule of thumb is to look at the location of the ebay seller. If he is in China or Hong Kong, chances are high that the item is a counterfeit item.
