HiFiMan HE4XX
Just made a similar comment in the HE-560 thread but definitely check out Garage1217 Project Ember II for one of the best values on high-power tube amps out there. Lots of tuning options (impedence, bandwidth, gain) and hand built (or available as a DIY kit) with very high quality components. I...- AnotherN00b

I did a lot of research when upgrading from my Magni and am very happy with the Garage1217 Project Polaris. Lots of power, adjustable brightness and gain, and a very good deal. Might have gone with a Lyr if I had more money to spend but am very happy with the Polaris. If you want to go the tube...- AnotherN00b

Beautiful @E1DA! You'll need to explain what this does again (specs, components, etc) and let us know if you are going to be making/selling more of these!- AnotherN00b

Hello Fellow Hi-Fi-Men (and Women), Recently grabbed one of the HE-560s on sale at Adorama and I am upgrading my Schiit Magni 2 Uber to a Garage1217 Polaris since the HE-560s sound a bit thin and bright to me on the Schiit stack (will be replacing the Modi with a Topping D50 as well). Anyway...- AnotherN00b

New from Garage1217, the solid-state Project Polaris!
Howdy Pardners! I have a Polaris on its way as a birthday present which will replace my Magni 2 Uber (will be replacing the Modi 2 with a Topping D50 next but that's beside the point). I'm primarily upgrading to the Polaris because I recently picked up a HE-560 and wasn't happy with how bright...- AnotherN00b

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
I've had mine since X-Mas and I do hear shrillness on certain songs that I am guessing comes from reflections off the metal grill primarily and possibly the ear-side surfaces to a lesser extent. I know DMS found that removing the metal grills had the biggest impact on reducing the 5k peak in his...- AnotherN00b
