HiBy Digital M300 Android Digital Audio Player,"The Gen-Z Music Player" - Discussion thread
Which headphones do you have? Even though LDAC was created by Sony, I don't believe that all of their headphones support LDAC. For example, the WH-1000XM series does support LDAC, but Sony's WH-CH720N only support SBC, AAC.- alwass89

I believe that once you turn on and connect a device that supports LDAC, it will allow you to choose a Bluetooth codec.- alwass89

NEW HiBy R4
That’s part of the reason I bought the black. So no matter what color band I end up getting, it’ll match. I don’t love the neon colors, but was still going between the neon green and black, but the random strap giveaway pushed me over the edge to get the black player.- alwass89

NEW HiBy R4
I have the black color on pre-order. Really looking forward to this one and hoping it will become my everyday carry. It seems like there is a lot of great tech and some really unique features for $249. Pretty interested in the 2 separate audio pathways for PCM and DSD as I have a decent amount...- alwass89

Cayin N3Ultra: an Entry-level Portable DAP that Delivers a Complete Vacuum Tube Audio Experience
Hi @Andykong, Artwork is 600x600, but it appears to be a .png file. I do see other thumbnails that are also 600x600 .png showing correctly, so not sure why some are working and other's aren't.- alwass89

Cayin N3Ultra: an Entry-level Portable DAP that Delivers a Complete Vacuum Tube Audio Experience
You can already organize the artist entries, but album. I want to organize the Artist list by the "Album Artist" tag. Other's have already explained this as well. Regarding the thumbnail art. I did exactly as you said. Took out SD card, did a music scan. I then inserted a blank card and "set...- alwass89

Cayin N3Ultra: an Entry-level Portable DAP that Delivers a Complete Vacuum Tube Audio Experience
I received N3 Ultra today and used it for about 90 minutes on my evening commute home. I walked from my office to the train, sat on the train and then walked from the train to my house. There was no audible microphonics or ringing, to my ears at least. I used the player on Tube timbre - Classic...- alwass89

Campfire Audio Chromatic Series
I'm considering the Cascara. They are described as "Deep, forward bass-response paired with a smooth, warm mid and high-end." Would these pair up well with a particularly warm source, for example the Cayin N3Ultra (which I have on the way) which has the very warm Tube sound?- alwass89

Cayin N3Ultra: an Entry-level Portable DAP that Delivers a Complete Vacuum Tube Audio Experience
I actually wrote to MusicTeck for recommendations and this was their top one. It's just at the very top of my price range, so looking for other options as well. They said: "It has superb technical performance for the price, a very solid bass performance with excellent details and soundstage...- alwass89

Mine also with the blue case has shipped and will most likely be here tomorrow! What IEM's and headphones are people planning to use with their N3Ultras? Trying to find a sub $500 IEM that will pair well considering the N3 Ultra's unique warm tube sound.- alwass89
