Selling my pair of D8000 pro. Headphones are in perfect working order with a few cosmetic issues. First issue is the silver cable which I have hardly used and stored in the velvet pouch. When I took it out of the pouch to inspect and take pics I noticed a purple staining inside the clear plastic...

Very pleased with my 12SN7 to 6SN7 adapters, quality workmanship.

I only suffer with pain on top of my head so hopefully this is the ticket.

The headband is the main issue for me. After wearing for half an hour I have to move it slightly to make it bearable for the next 30 mins or so. Would love it if someone offered an alternative headband/cradle. Besides this it's a fabulous headphone.

The D8KP will be sold, i'm quite smitten with the Sol P. The only real nit pick is the headband comfort, but after reading Dan Gheorghe's excellent review where he says it becomes less painful over time, there is hope. Failing that I will try the Nuggets. Good luck with the 3rd headphone search...

Hi Jon, only asking as I am in discussion to have my D8KP custom silver cable re-terminated for the Sol P.

@krude Had a look at the Sol P cable on Lavricable and noticed there isn't any extended heatshrink/strainrelief to aid plugging the cable in. Did this cause you any problems?
