X4 on the Heed Canamp~ it DOES tighten the bass up. Question: What other headphones are good with Canamp?

Yes, you do need a lot of burn-in time, but amp is a REALLY big problem... I have a little Heed Canamp that just solve the problem. I have K701, but it is practically the same, this amp is not that expensive, but it does tighten the bass up.

Soundstage and separation are two BIG advantages of the K701~~~ K701's neutrality is ok since it does emphasize some on the high a lot.

I currently have K701 amplified by Heed CanAmp~ I just plug it in to my computer for regular listening. But I want more than this, will a DAC or a decent CDP do my some good? DacMagic? V-DAC? or NAD 542? MARANTZ 5001? I'm really confused.... BTY, my budget is somewhere around $500...
