Ultimate Ears UE 900 Discussion and Impressions Thread

After drifting between a few lower end produts for a couple of years since I left my beloved TF10s in the seat pocket on a plane, I finally managed to score a good deal on these ($200 and change from Logitech for a dented box, except it looked perfect when I received it).   The fit is killing...

Tragically, I left behind my Triplefi 10s on a plane, never to be seen again. While I loved them very much, the 'financial' hit wasn't as bad seeing as I got in on one of them awesome BF deals a couple of years back at the princely sum of $99. That being said though, I'm in the market for...

    Headphones For Little Girls

Any particular reason why not to go with the original iPod ones? They're pretty cool-looking too. Although the sound is strictly mediocre.

Tips to get a better seal for IEMs?

Just modded my pair, took all of two minutes. Seal seems better, but still not as good as my right ear, which is a really really good fit. But what I like about it is that it doesn't stick out nearly as much as it used to, which means I can lie down with my head on my side wearing these now...

    Modified usage of Super.fi 5pro

I just tried the mod, because I couldn't get a decent seal with one ear, and it seems to work so far. But what I REALLY LIKE about this is that they don't stick out as much as they used to! Yay for that.

Where to find V-moda Vibe's in the GTA

Oh yeah. Getting anything worth more than $20 shipped from the US (especially new) is either a (i) nightmare or (ii) a big hole in your pocket or both.

Tips to get a better seal for IEMs?

Just picked up super.fi 5 pro, having some problems getting a good seal. Strange thing is, the medium sized tip (the default one that comes on the monitor) is just perfect for my right ear. I get a very good seal. But for my left ear, none of the tips or the bi-flange or even the foam seems to...

    Super.fi 5 pro - please help

Since the white noise goes away with the level attenuator, it's probrably a source problem and not a problem with the superfi's themselves.

I need IEMs/canalphones for the gym. Suggestions?

there's a pretty big jump between the canalphones (cx300) and the entry level IEMs though, in terms of isolation. I'm very picky about hearing everything else around me and I didn't really like the isolation of canalphones.
