    I read that after break in these things need great amount of power. Via iphone it's ok, via fiio e12 it's big but a little too dark, via alo national it's not enough bass, but via rxmk3b+ I must say, it's almost perfect for portable listening on a hifi level.

    Wow, I am a huge fan of over ears, so much my father and I have an in ear vs over ear rivalry, and he just told me he's getting these. After reading this review and comments of others I might have to give in and join his team, especially at a $600 price tag. I can't even find a pair of used...

    In favor of replaceable battery or built-in one?

    If it's 8 hours plus on play time, please non replaceable so I build quality will be top notch. If under 8 or 7 then replaceable but I hope that wouldn't suffer BQ so much.

    X5's power is good, but a little more wouldn't hurt for those of us enjoying 300 ohm cans or planers.

    8+ is good enough, but if 8 is what folks get it would be nice to make the battery replaceable by the user. Anything under 8 should only be acceptable if the battery is swappable for sure.

    If it's touch screen, top build, great ui, so powerful no additional amp needed even 3 x5 x 1.25 (inches) is good.

    Well my dream player would be something like an Alo RX3 and an AK 240 in one. So I'd be willing to drop $1k on it.

    I've noticed in the advertisement pictures of the x5 a picture of the product in front of a Mac Pro laptop with iTunes open and it looks to say media device in iTunes. Can you sync files from music library directly to the x5's cards via iTunes sync avoiding windows explorer ?

    It's funny because when I first saw the AK240 I first thought JH-Roxanne because they both have Carbon Fiber. Friends and I decided that's the new dream combo.
