Does this player play gapless? (I don't have a pha-3 to try yet)

In case anyone wanted to know, I can now confirm that the Sony player plays gapless.

Hello. Let me join the club.
Just purchased PHA 3 CA. It goes without battery, and I am thinking .... just to mount battery inside. Maybe somebody know what native battery it is inside of PHA 3? Or maybe somebody put battery into PHA 3 CA - any useful tips?

an odd question perhaps

how long is the micro-usb cable that comes with the pha3?
i have the pha 3 but trying to determine which in my collection of cables may have come with the pha 3 itself.
or is there a determining mark on the cable to identify it?

Got a PHA3 that works fine with my older Samsung smart phone tat uses micro USB. Just upgraded my mobile to the new Samsung S8+...which now uses USB-C.

Read that some guys have gotten the PHA3 to work via USB-C. Can anyone help to confirm that a Micro USB-to-USB-C cable is what i need?

Any other settings required to get the amp to work with my S8+?

I just purchased a used PHA-3 and the expected delivery is next Monday but will not come with any cables. The plan is to connect via my Windows machine and also either my iPhone 7 Plus or iPod Touch. I mainly use Tidal HiFi but will dabble in Hi-Res files via my Windows 10 laptop. What various cables will I need for my listed connections? As a side note I also have an iPad Pro with the special Apple camera cable for the lightning port. What will this do for me? Can my iPad Pro charger be used to charge the PHA-3?

To use the pha3 with ipad/iphone you dont need the CCK, just the usual lightning to usb cable. To charge the pha3 you need a micro usb to usb cable tgat you can plug into the ipad charger

No idea - i dont get fancy with files. Just aiff and alac files.

uh... the PHA3 takes up to native DSD. If your player is able to output that. No need for a CCK. Lightning as well.
