Does the Beta HiBy Link firmware break receiving BT from phone? Now it just says "connection failed".

It was working yesterday when I first got it, but not today. I don't remember if I tried it before or after the HiBy Link beta firmware upgrade. :frowning2:

Just tired with another phone and it says, "could not pair because of an incorrect pin key" or something similar.

UPDATE!

Nevermind, I figured it out. I have to set HiBy Link to off on the M1 for BT streaming from my phone to work.

Hi all!

Cannot install HibyMusic_3.0.0_build_5085.apk on Samsung S7 Edge (Android v6.0.1): install button not active. Previous v2.3.4 version of HiBy app working on this S7 Edge but update to v3 and clean install not working. Same app from same source working flawlessly on older S3. Is anybody faced with this situation?

WOW!!

You guys are just making these little daps more and more impressive.

I first tried the M1 strapped to a Mojo and thought it was great such a small transport could be used with an external dac.
I then unplugged, plugged in my Ether C into the headphone out and was surprised at just how well it drove them. No it wasn't something I would care to do regularly but I was genuinely surprised.
THEN I streamed Tidal from my phone to the player and it was seamless.

NOW I can also choose to control the device from my mobile phone, so I can basically use it to stream to, as storage and control from my phone, take simply as its own player if I am going for a walk, use it as a USB dac if I need to or use it WITH a usb dac.

Bravo!!

Except when streaming from you phone to the Shanling is doesn't support aptX, and it's noticeable. I was hoping it would replace my $15 Mpow bluetooth receiver at the gym for streaming spotify, sadly it can not. A dedicated BT receiver with aptX is better for that job. Not really Shanling fault, it's just the way the BT chip is manufactured.

Aside from that is a really good little player. Unfortunately streaming Spotify at the gym is one of the main way I listen to music outside the home. So I have yet to decide if I'm keeping my M1 and M2s.

Opened HiByMusic beta and it told me there was an update. Installed it, now it crashes every time I open it.

Tried on my other phones and it crashes on all three (Axon 7, Nexus 6P and LG G5). :frowning2:
