My BHSE with chromed tube rings and volume knob.

Sorry All second photo is upside down. Don't know why as original is the right way up.

Struggling with the format of the new site. Not very user friendly !

yep.

The same post is where Justin said the BHSE should still be available for a while.

B

The BHSE is not going anywhere. We are working on a new amp that will supplement it in our electrostatic lineup.

Hope this new HeadAmp design will be shown at CanJam London... but then may be I will need to find a new home for my BHSE... :)

I wouldn't bet on it making it in time for CanJam London this year. Still much to work out about this product. I'd guess that RMAF might be the soonest it would make a public appearance. We'll make sure everybody knows when it is coming.

Bonesy's BHSE is definitely the most pimp (or at least in a runoff with the seafoam green one). Nice EL34 tubes, too!

The custom GG looks really nice too. I was depressed over losing my custom title with the forum conversion, but hell it's Friday and we all have beautiful electrostatic amps -- life is good, fellas!

Chrome parts were done by a UK company. Looks fantastic.

These tubes are Svetlana Winged C's 1991. Bought them brand new ihn original boxes from Watford Tubes in UK. I have had them running for over 300 hours now. They sound great. A big step up from the tubes that come with the BHSE and I prefer them to my Philips NOS XF2's.

Headphones connected to my BHSE are 009's and 507's.

Have a Chord Electronics Blu Mk1 CD Transporter and QBD76 DAC on a Chord two tier stand connected to the BHSE with balanced cables. CD Transporter and DAC connected via twin signal AES/EBU cables to give 176kHz up-sampling rate from Redbook 44kHz.

All interconnects are Clearer Audio Silverline Optimum Reference and Power Cables and Power Hub Clearer Audio Silverline Optimum.

Overall it sounds fantastic with the CD Transporter and very good via Optic cable (44kHz sampling rate) from MacBook Pro Retina running Audivana software. Just wondering if the Chord Dave and Blu MkII or a Lampizator GG or Totaldac six or Nagra HD will improve the sound even further !

I think the chromed volume knob with black or purple or dark silver / grey facia's would look amazing !
