Video games feature some of the best music out there. Post your favorites!

The only rule is that tracks have to be from the game. No remixes or covers!

I'll start!

Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy X OST) - The Silence Before the Storm

Toshiharu Yamanishi - Metal Squad - Thunder Force IV.

Motoaki Takenouchi - Into the Darkness - Shining Force II.
Motoaki Takenouchi - Elven Town - Shining Force II.
Motoaki Takenouchi - Water Goddess Mitula - Shining Force II.
Hikichi, Iwadare, Kubotera, and Mizoguchi - Stage 1 (Asteroid Field) - Advanced Busterhawk - Gley Lancer.
Foltan, Gigor, and Fazekas - Two Tides - Ecco: The Tides of Time.
Foltan, Gigor, and Fazekas - Fin to Feather - Ecco: The Tides of Time.
Alexander Brandon - Space Battle 2 - Tyrian.
Junichi Nakatsuru - Eternal Struggle - Soulcalibur II
Bob Siebenberg - Intro (MT-32) - Space Quest III.
Dobos, Heger, Magyari, and Zuckermann - Flashback: Battle of Wolf 359 (Saratoga lavel) - Star Trek DS9: Crossroads of Time (Sega Genesis).
Donald Griffin - Arab Rock - Aladdin (Sega Genesis).

And they all skirt by on a technicality as they were all featured in these games on various virtual 'radio stations,' but......
Philip Oakley - Together in Electric Dreams - GTA: Vice City Stories (Flash FM).
Too Short - The Ghetto - GTA: San Andreas (Radio Los Santos).
Rod Stewart - Young Turks - GTA: San Andreas (K-DST).
Hall & Oates - Out of Touch - GTA: Vice City (Flash FM).
DM - Personal Jesus - GTA: San Andreas (Radio X).
Bryan Adams - Run to You - GTA: Vice City (Flash FM) .
Missing Persons - Destination Unknown - GTA: Vice City Stories (Flash FM).
Toto - Africa - GTA: Vice City (Emotion 98.3).

And that's only a few.

UPDATE: I got another song to add to this post: Geoff Knorr - Destroyer - Civilization: Beyond Earth.

Probably my most favorite boss battle BGM on a classic PS1 shoot'em up (that IMO needs more love). Also, this game has an awesome OST, overall.

Shudder by Ken'ichiro Fukui (Einhander Original Soundtrack)

I like so much video game music that I wouldn't even know where to begin! Guess I'll get to it later...

I imported that soundtrack CD from Japan.

This particular track has significance for my brother and I. Whenever I play it, he likes to say, "This is the law!" like that first boss in the game...and he makes jokes about bulldozers. XD

Even with a near-invincibility GameShark code, we still kept getting blown up in that game. He thinks it's impossible to do a perfect playthrough.

JRPGs have so many good ones. This short track plays every time a nasty character arrives in the game. Fits perfectly.

Revo (Bravely Default OST) - Visitor

[starts repeating itself around 1:35]

One of the best tracks from an excellent soundtrack. The "Roar" version is more lively and I favor it.

Fire Emblem Fates OST - Road Taken

Man this thread has some killer tracks on it! I am such a sucker for FFX music... heres one of my faves-

Edit: I just put on the second Zelda track that was posted (Overworld theme, and thanks for posting @SilverEars ) and I am rocking out to it! Then it struck me that I am listening to an 8 bit song on youtube through Focal Utopias... I felt ridiculous LOL

A downbeat but still driving electronic track, thanks in great part to its bassline. Heard in Need for Speed IV and Mass Effect 2.

Saki Kaskas (Need for Speed IV Soundtrack) - Callista
