Hi all forum members I have a big problem and I really hope you guys help me out. I have Fiio X3 II and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohm. I am not happy with the sound. I read that X3 is strong enough to drive my DT770 before I bought it but I think it's not. I don't get bass and I don't get enough volume. So I am thinking of buying an amp I need your suggestions, opinions on this. By the way I listen rap most of the time just so you know.

You'll get tons of power out of a FiiO A5 or E12.
Anyway, try to avoid listening to music at very loud levels if you want to preserve your hearing health.

Thank you for quick reply. What do you think about the combination. I used to have cowon j9 and I bought Fiio. I can buy new headphones if I need to

+100 for the A5. I have the FiiO X3 and A5 combo and it drives my HD650 just fine (just because I wanted to test it). They stack nicely with the X3 stacking kit and sound great. I don't like the A5 bass boost but you can just decide not to use it. It's solidly built and I don't think I'd recommend any other mobile amp
